Spring Shopping List

This Saturday marks the official start of spring. Aside from warmer temperatures, this new season brings about a new variety of foods. Seasonal foods provide a higher nutritional content because they are at their freshest. Eating seasonally also allows us to nourish our bodies according to our environment.

Some of the items on this list including the meat and grains are more or less year-round. However I included them because they are optimal choices for this time of year. I hope this list makes your springtime shopping a little easier. I will be updating these each season so keep your eye out and be sure to download the latest copy.
