Summer Nutrition Guide

Is it just me or is this year flying by? It feels like only a few weeks ago I sat down to create my Spring Shopping Guide and here I am about to release the summer edition. Even though summer is a time when we typically let loose and attend to our travels, it’s still important for us to be mindful of our nutrition. While it’s not a time for detoxing like spring was, summer presents its own unique nutritional focus. 

In fact one of the key nutrients to emphasize during summer also happens to be the most commonly deficient- water. In this guide I break down the facts about water including how much you should be drinking (hint: it’s not the standard 8 glasses of water we’ve been told) and how to improve your body’s absorption of water. I’ve also included an updated seasonal shopping list and a bonus recipe that will help keep you hydrated all summer long.
